Daniel discovered a new art form - banana painting, in which the artist makes bold striking markings on a concrete or carpeted surface, in banana.

Lauren discovered snorkelling is very tricky when you are a very new swimmer.

Robyn got hysterically upset playing a new computer game, Barbie Explorer, when poor clumsy Barbie kept falling into pits, missing cliffs, and getting stomped on by elephants in the African jungle.

Peter bought and spent most of Saturday night installing Half-Life 2, described on the box not just with "Violence" but "Blood" and "Intense Violence". This may have referred to the user's reaction on attempting to perform the installation, which is not for the faint-hearted.

And I discovered that six weeks have gone by and I still have not finished my story for tomorrow night's creating writing group meeting.
