So some time last year we thought, ok mainly I thought, about having a fourth baby. I was pretty keen for a while until I came to the eventual conclusion that it was impractical, infeasible, and totally out of the question.

And, thanks to some sort of Sense of Humour Out There, I am now pregnant.

On the negative side.

On the plus side.

• The kids are euphoric.
• Peter may now seriously consider a vasectomy.
• I'll never regret that we didn't have four.
• We will (eventually) be evenly matched for future games of Cranium.
