Quick update as Peter says I am too sporadic in my posts and that I only post when nothing is happening.

From the moment I came around from the anaesthetic I felt a thousand times better. Abdominal pain totally gone, headache almost gone, gory previously omitted details totally gone. Came home yesterday afternoon.

Now just a course of kick-ass antibiotics to finish things off, and it looks like I won't have to take the non-breast-feeding-friendly one. Yay!

What an enormous relief. Still tired and short of breath but feeling much more like myself again.

Spent today catching up on the laundry which had piled up and taking Lauren (and Stephen) to a very muddy biking party. Lauren had a blast despite wiping out twice. She was the only girl from the class at the party but took it all in her stride.
