As I write this, Daniel should be experiencing his first extra-mural activity ever as he and Peter are finally (unless something else has gone wrong) embarking on swimming lessons this morning. There were various reasons why it didn't work out on either Tuesday or Thursday last week, and poor Daniel kept proudly proclaiming that he was going for swimming lessons, only to be told 'not today', or 'tomorrow', or 'next week'.
I hope they have fun. Sort of wish it was me having a swim with my little boy right now. I'm glad that Peter has the flexibility to do this sort of thing though.
In other scarier news, Lauren is having photos at school today and as I left with Robyn, late as usual at 7.27, this time after having to track down at the last minute a doll and watering can for Robyn's ballet lesson after school, Lauren emerged hopefully with two hair elastics wanting someone to make her hair fancy for the photo. I just didn't have time. Peter is scared of putting the girls' hair into ponytails, and for good reason. Should be an interesting school photo. I would much rather she have her normal hair style for the photo, and look her usual sweet self, but what can you do?
I listened to chapter 5 of Lady Chatterly's Lover on the drive this morning. Despite this, I am proud to say I managed not to damage the car in any way.
I am enjoying it. Though I doubt I'd have the patience to actually read it. It is still pretty much just about sex, but in an intellectual way, if that makes sense.

Do tell, why would Robyn need a doll and a watering can for ballet?
Am laughing at the idea of you listening to Lady Chatterley's Lover on the way to work - must be a bit of mental switch when you get to the office!
