Last night I painted giant twirly lollipops and a barley-sugar bridge over a chocolate river on a huge piece of canvas. I went to Robyn's school to help with painting the scenery for the school concert which is coming up at the end of the month. I was working on the Grade Two scenery. The Grade Two's theme is Candyland. Think chocolate river room in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. It was very relaxing. I can't resist stuff like this. There were about half a dozen moms and some teachers. And a handful of dads were making the Magic Faraway Tree. The show centres around the Magic Faraway Tree and its different lands. The Grade One land is Toyland. It looks like Robyn is going to be a dancing toy sailor. I can see the whole thing is totally magical for her.

There are many aspects of teaching I know I would love.
