Thank God it's Friday. What a frustrating week this has been at work. Since my project was binned (the project I had been sweating blood over for most of the year), I've been working on a potentially-interesting-but-in-practice-intensely-lonely-and-frustrating piece of work.

I am ready to pull my hair out.

Got in late this morning, as had to stay at home to get the trampoline diggers started. Kids don't know they are getting a trampoline. I have dispatched them all to Maritzburg to my parents place for the day. They probably won't notice the trampoline this evening, and then tomorrow I plan to make a treasure hunt for them around the garden, ending at the trampoline. It's way up at the top so they probably won't see it until they get quite close to it. The kids love treasure hunts. It is getting progressively harder to find original places to hide the clues (particularly since they have to be things I can draw . I could probably write some clues for Robyn now, but Lauren wouldn't be able to read them Perhaps I will write some and draw some. They enjoy deciphering the picture clues though as I often make them quite obscure. Sometimes intentionally.) The last treasure hunt I did included clues to Peter's pocket, the tumble drier, the car boot, Daniel's nappy, and the pool pump. Got to get thinking tonight.
